		Johan Sopiee is a self taught photographer. He started photography to capture moments of Baby Nadia growing up.

		Inspired by the love and joy of capturing newlyweds' special moments, this hobby and pastime started getting serious in 2005. To date Johan has assisted and personally photographed 200+ weddings; be it Malay, Chinese, Indian, Sikh and mixed weddings. Be it in a home, a mosque, a church, a temple a beach, a garden wedding, Johan, the bride, groom and families never fail to have a great time! On 17th January 2009, Johan became a member of the US-based WPJA (Wedding PhotoJournalist Association). Johan's foray into commercial photography took off in 2009. Having covered events like conferences, press releases, charity events, annual dinners, services and product launches, sports events, etc and eventually maturing corporate profile photography, product photography, food photography, photography for billboards and commercials, Johan's breadth of clientele can be seen here. In early 2010, Johan Sopiee assisted Wedshooter.TV when Louis Pang and his team brought Joe McNally to Malaysia. It was a event close to Johan's heart to be humbled by being in the presence of 2 great photographers.
